Using the flash-point of British Columbia's "Battle for the Trees" at Fairy Creek, the documentary examines the importance of keeping forest ecosystems intact here in North America, in the Amazon and around the world.

After a daring escape from Dark Portal Penitentiary, Mr. Hillbilly and Pitrensky Norovich return to the Jeremiah Residence to lie low, after a scuffle with local militia the two form an inseparable bond. As Mr. Hillbilly rediscovers his old home in Texas his sense of reality begins to falter as he laments on past memories the residence held over him. Both of them indulge in the life they never had, before something embedded in the past returns to haunt Mr. Hillbilly.

A look at the mandate and performance of the U.S. Forest Service in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. Through interviews with Forest Service employees, loggers, environmentalists, scientists and politicians, we discover the ever-widening impact of current policy on the human and wildlife communities that depend upon the National Forests for survival. In 1905 the National Forest system was created to protect the remainder of the great woodland ecosystems that once covered America. Yet each year, more and more of these public forests have been sacrificed in the name of commerce. Everyone talks about finding the balance between preserving jobs and protecting the environment, but solutions are long in coming. While we debate, American taxpayers subsidize forest destruction to the tune of 300 million dollars each year.

The TARDIS crew take up residence near Rome in 64AD, where Ian and Barbara are kidnapped by slave traders, and the Doctor's imitation of Maximus Pettulian sees him taken to the court of Emperor Nero where he inadvertently plays a part in deciding the course of history...
